Libra Mood Board

This season’s mood board comes to you in the eleventh hour as I am giving myself ample space to push deadlines to properly and tenderly close the door on the marriage that I lost with a finality earlier this month. I hope the timing of you receiving it makes sense and we’ll call it an ode and a goodbye to Libra season rather than our typical greeting.

It’s different in more than just the lateness of delivery though, regular readers will notice. This issue relies more heavily on the visual aspect and the analysis of each image is left out as I’m entrusting this to you. If you have any feedback on this format, please leave me a comment. This season is my most identified of the twelve, as I have a Libra stellium including both luminaries. What is Libra? It’s a cardinal air sign, ruled by Venus. In a word; harmony. Visual harmony manifested as beauty, relational harmony manifested as peace, chemical harmony manifested as romance.

In looking for Libran cues, I’m looking for unexpected but pleasing color combinations, especially jewel and flower tones. I’m looking for culturally feminine motifs, themes of justice both in subject and composition, tension and release. Where possible, the images have been linked to their sources.
