Working With an Intuitive Brand Designer

I’m Victoria Strong, most people call me Tori. I’m a Brand Creatrix specializing in brand identity design for businesses in the wellness, beauty, and mystic industries.

There comes a point in every brand’s life where it outgrows the DIY logo phase and needs a professionally developed visual identity in order to reach more people, build more trust, and convert more sales.

That’s when they call me.

The difference between hiring an intuitive brand designer and a generic brand designer is found both in the experience and the finished product. Allow me to take you beat by beat through what you can expect when we work together and you can decide for yourself if spiritually informed design is a priority for your brand.

ritualistic collaboration

You may find my process to be a little more involved at the beginning than other designers who will send you a quick questionnaire about your brand and then get to work. As the person who originally channeled the idea for your business, I highly value your collaboration in creating the visual identity.

So, I start us off with a Brand Ritual, which is meant to be a moment you spend in quietude with your dreams and goals through guided visualizations and journaling. This ritual not only helps me understand the future of your brand on a deeper level, it will prepare you for the growth that comes from a high quality rebrand. If you’re looking for a quick fix or a surface level interpretation of your brand, I am not your designer.

Cosmically Informed Aesthetics

The highest priority for a brand design is to be magnetic to your ideal customers and clients. When they see you during their scroll or their morning commute, they need to think; “that’s for me”.

One of my favorite ways to do this is by working off the astrology charts of the owner and the business itself. We can also use Meyers-Briggs, Human Design, or universal archetypes to cue our color, font, and overall design choices. Tapping into your personal choice of relational reflection helps us create an identity that is subconsciously recognizable to those it is made for.

One client of mine has a personal brand and wanted to leverage several of her astrological placements to communicate the value she provides, so we built a color palette that directly corresponds to her strengths through the zodiac color wheel.

Another client with an educational brand finds divine direction through the number three, so we incorporated three stars into every version of her logo to keep her aligned with the direction of her business and amplify the magic of her angel number for her audience.

Another client came to me with a sigil designed by a sigil witch and I helped her transform it into a powerful logo.

Creative integrity

In case you hadn’t yet gathered, I believe in what I do. Purpose is a big word, but I do feel that at least for now, helping good businesses grow to support their owners and customers is what I’m meant to be doing.

My creativity is how I connect with the divine. You can trust that in my hands, your brand is treated with the reverence and respect of a spell. I frequently find that my newest design is my new best design because I’m always exploring, expanding my skills and understanding.

I am a professional and I keep strong boundaries around my work and encourage my clients to do the same, as many of us fall into indentifiers that are historically overworked, under-compensated, and taken for granted. Our design container will be a practice in respect and mutual benefit.
